Today is the 150th anniversary of President Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address. What is left to say about this speech? It’s one of the greatest in American history. I’ve had a real fondness for it ever since I had to memorize it in the third grade. So when Ken Burns asked if I would recite the Address as part of a project related to his new film, I was happy to participate. I thought I’d share the video I sent Ken.

A. No, never.

Q. How do I sign up to receive email communications from my Gates Notes account?

A. In Account Settings, click the toggle switch next to “Send me updates from Bill Gates.”

Q. How will you use the Interests I select in Account Settings?

A. We will use them to choose the Suggested Reads that appear on your profile page.
